Let's take a perfectly good Nissan GTR and ruin it by putting on a Qashqai body. Oh, and let's not do it once, but twice!

This automotive abortion is now featured on the latest BuildThreads post. There's a lot of things people do to cars where I say, "To each his/her own," but there's too much wrong here. The GTR+Juke was bad enough, now this?

I'm gonna get hate for liking it I'm sure.

But here is why, sleepers are awesome, I don't care that its killing two GT-R's. I'm not a fan of them anyways, its a lot of Hype, and the car is impressive, but still something about it doesn't attract me.

Also, its different.....No one is being different lately, its all "Look guys I have camber and I can't drive over anything that changes elevation"....

Its their money to do what they want, they wanna kill 2 GTR's to make 2 Awesome little SUV's, go for it.

1. At least use a wrecked GTR.
2. There are easier ways (and platforms) to make a sleeper SUV.

Not appreciative of the your mom thing....Touchy subject for me.

But, wrecked GTR means warped chassis. Not suitable, plus the chance for more damage.

And If no one has done it before why the hell not? Never have I heard of the Qashi, or whatever, plus its different....That's what that company is about.

I love it, though it's not as cool as the Juke-R. A shame that they used the +2 model as well, it doesn't look as good as the normal 5-seater. Not that any of them looks very good in the first place, but this is cool nonetheless.

I was ok with it until I saw it was actually a completely clean GTR they started with. I thought wrecked body for sure, but nope, looks like they toddled over to Nissan said "I'll have two please" and started this body swap with double digit odometres on both

I dig it. It's not like they rebodied an F40 or something. It's a GTR, they made a pile of them, and will make more piles in the future. Butcher away to your heart's content.
